AOS to Support Oracle 10g OLAP

MORRISTOWN, NJ - November 8, 2005 -
ACG Inc. announced that an AOS beta version supporting Oracle 10g OLAP will be ready by the end of 2005.  Currently, ACG is developing the application server to support Oracle 10g. This new application server will provide the same features available in the current ODBO/Express application server. As part of this development effort ACG will provide 100% equivalent functionality in both the Microsoft and Oracle APIs. AOS currently supports all versions of Oracle Express 6.x and any multi-dimensional engine based on Microsoft's ODBO standard

The beta version of the AOS for Oracle 10g will be available to clients early in 2006. While the majority of this development effort is centered on support, several system corrections and enhancements will also be included in the release. The AOS front-end will continue to support the current Excel-like look and feel with its powerful formatting capabilities and tight integration with Microsoft desktop applications.
